The best part? You can barely tell they’re not your own lashes!
What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions is a lengthening and thickening system for natural eyelashes. Eyelash extensions are attached using a special bonder that are glued to the lashes hair by hair. The eyelash extensions are never placed on the skin or on the lash edge. The eyelash extensions can only be placed by a certified eyelash artist so not by yourself.
Care of eyelash extensions:
- Do not pull your eyelashes.
- Do not rub your eyes.
- Do not use mascara on the eyelash extensions.
- Never remove your eyelash extensions yourself.
- Clean your eyelash extensions with the appropriate make up removers.
How are eyelash extensions removed?
A full set of eyelash extensions are removed by a special gel / cream remover that soaks off the bonder. In no other way can eyelash extensions be removed. This can also only be done by an eyelash stylist.
With a refill, outgrown eyelash extensions will be removed safely from your natural eyelash with a specific technique to prevent damage and a new (fan of) eyelash extension(s) will be replaced on your natural eyelash.
Are eyelash extensions harmful to natural eyelashes?
Eyelash extensions are not harmful to natural eyelashes. However, this does depend on a number of factors:
- Eyelash extensions must be set by an experienced eyelash stylist with the proper supplies.
- The eyelash extensions must never be placed or removed by yourself.
- The client must follow the lash stylist’s aftercare instruction.
Refill treatment
The eyelash extensions remain in place for an average of 3 to 6 weeks. This period depends on the eyelashes’ own cycle and the client’s care. A growth cycle of natural eyelashes is about 3 to 6 weeks. It is advisable to do a refill treatment between 2 and 4 weeks. During a refill treatment, the outgrown eyelash extensions are removed and new eyelash extensions are placed on free natural hairs.
Can anyone wear eyelash extensions?
Almost everyone can wear eyelash extensions. There are a few exceptions:
- clients without their own eyelashes
- clients with brittle eyelashes
- clients who are allergic to the ingredients in the bonder.

Additional information:
A new set takes about 2 hours to complete. Your lashes have about a 6-8week cycle before they fall out on their own. Therefore, it is recommended to have your lashes touched up every 2-3 weeks. This takes about an hour.
Report within 48 hours if there are any problems and have them checked within that week!
